.christmas & caipirinha
December 25, 2009

Zoe & Dave invited us for a Christmas dinner yesterday night. Who can resist a home-cooked thanksgiving turkey right? Hehe.

Delish food spread, great drinks (virgin and non), exchanging gifts, great host and hostess entertaining our “needs”, what could be any better than this?!

Eat to our hearts’ content before Mum leaves. Chomp chomp!

On another note, my sis said I smell like a bitch. Startled.

I beg to differ. Angel by Thierry Mugler is the guilty one.

.it’s kongkang day again!

Wasn’t a good sight, but the BFFs went to Sentosa Island to celebrate Julie’s birthday! Apart from the few washed-up “whales” sighting by the beach, the outing was pure awesome. We tried turning Julie into a mermaid, but you know that would never work.

Our sand building skill was as bad as babysitting Julie’s birthday cake. Jepun accidentally left it on the tram but managed to retrieve it in time before we board on the train back to Vivocity for dinner at Marche. The fate of the cake was terrible, Wiyne and I had to re-attached chocolate pieces to the sides and “re-mould” the not so fruity looking fruits. Needless to say, it was still edible and would like to thank Nana for taking care of the cake since the day before!

See what we went through just for you dearest BFF? Happy Birthday babe!

It was a total surprise. I wasn’t expecting anything, really. I’m totally touched. Not only was it a fun raya day/night out, it certainly is a memorable one. I can’t say thank you enough. I love you guys. I seriously do.

Thank you Nana, Julie, Shah, Wiyne, Jepun & Ariff.

Happy Birthday Dad!!!!

It’s official, my redundant blog is turning into a pictorial blog. Don’t blame entirely on my lazy bones. I’m diagnosed with semangat5minit writing syndrome. Baah.

Syawal is here. Exactly a week ago before Syawal, the Abdul Rahman’s grandkids met up for our iftar which then ended up as a lepak and gossiping session along Haji Lane. In contrary to  what Muslims are supposed to avoid during this month. Hehe.

A week after, instead of gathering to celebrate the joyous Aidilfitri, half of the Abdul Rahman’s (this time, parents, makciks, pakciks, all 3 generations included) gathered infront of a laptop watching a live telecast football match, Manchester United against Manchester City while the rest were hooked on cable tv for Nur Kasih or something on par.

Imagine the Kopites, the Blues and the Gunners against the Red Devils under one roof, it’s hell I tell you.

How can you not love the Abdul Rahman’s?

.bffs high on puffs
August 15, 2009

Met up with the BFFs today and meeting up the new “addition” to the gang for approval. Nice catch Nana (since he decided to pay for our drinks), he’s definitely in our good book. Haa. Not sure what was in the sheeshas, but all of us were totally high after a few puffs. Okay, we won’t blame it on the pipes, maybe it’s just us when we meet, ala the Planeteers merging their rings together to call out Captain Planet.

So there was the prompt act to have a photo taken inside the public toilet (okay, i’m very sure it’s wasn’t the sheesha’s fault, this was taken before we took a puff). Baah.

And an impromptu “sanding” with a “muallaf” with Captain Kambing as my pengapit who thinks using the menu as a “kipas sanding” is cool.

Somebody call IMH please?
